DR. JAN JAFFER

Hi there, I'm Dr. Jan!
In 2002, I graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Missing Calgary's climate, I returned home to join the family business. I love meeting new patients and building relationships that last for many years. My favourite thing to see is three generations of a family as patients - the two year old, the parent and the grandparent!

When I'm not seeing patients, you'll find me... 
Volunteering with Kindness in Action or Dentistry for All, organizations that are dedicated to delivering dental care to those in need in Central and South America.  I also love to ski, snowboard, travel and learn new things.

Hi there, I'm Dr. Chana!
I graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Dentistry in 2003 and love practicing here in Cranston!  I am passionate about dentistry and especially enjoy treating children as well as doing orthodontics.  My favourite thing about being a dentist is the opportunity to connect with my patients and getting to know them over the years.

Hello, my name is Dr. Nazar Babyak
I have obtained my dental degree from the University of Manitoba in sunny Winnipeg where I’ve practiced dentistry and taught clinical dental sciences for the past four years. Our family ties, love for the outdoors and wondrous beauty of the Rockies brought my wife and me to Calgary.

As a professional I strive to provide my patients with quality dental care in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere while being respectful of their timeframe and financial considerations.

Apart from work...
I love spending time with my wife and three-year-old son Daniel. I love painting and carpentry as well as skiing and soccer. I am proud to have strong Ukrainian roots and in addition to English I am fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.

1. Do dental clinics have to follow the ADA Fee Guide?

No. Our clinics choose to follow the fee guide so our patients are secure knowing they are getting the best value and not paying more than they should!

2. What does the fee guide cover?

The ADA Fee Guide document outlines over 1,600 dental codes.

3. How do I limit my dental fees?

Practising good dental hygiene is the best way to reduce your dental fees. We will also work with you and your insurance to make sure you feel comfortable.
